Fiber cement board Pure color series

Fiber cement board Pure color series

Fiber cement board is a durable and versatile material widely used in construction, particularly for exterior cladding, siding, and interior applications like drywall or backer board in wet areas. It is made from a mixture of cement, sand, and cellulose fibers, making it resistant to many environmental factors like fire, moisture, and pests.

Here are some key advantages and uses of fiber cement board:

Advantages of Fiber Cement Board:

Durability: Highly resistant to moisture, rot, and termites. It can withstand harsh weather conditions, including heat, rain, and freezing temperatures.

Fire Resistance: Non-combustible, making it a safer option for fire-prone areas.

Low Maintenance: Requires less maintenance than wood or vinyl siding. It doesn’t warp, crack, or fade as quickly.

Eco-friendly: Often made from sustainable materials and can be recycled.

Versatility: Can be used for siding, flooring, soffits, and as a backer board in bathrooms or kitchens.

Aesthetic Variety: Can be made to look like wood, stone, or other materials, offering various styles for exterior or interior designs.

Common Applications:

Exterior Cladding: Popular as siding material because it’s durable and weather-resistant.

Backer Board for Tiles: Used behind tiles in wet areas (e.g., bathrooms or kitchens) due to its resistance to moisture.

Interior Wall Panels: For areas requiring fire resistance or additional durability.

Fireproofing and Insulation: Sometimes used as part of fireproof walls or insulation systems in commercial and residential buildings.

Installation:

Fiber cement boards can be installed in several ways, but typically, it involves:

Cutting the boards using special saws (like circular or jigsaws with carbide blades).

Securing them with screws or nails to studs or framing.

Sealing the edges and joints with caulk or tape for better protection against moisture.

PRODUCT FEATURES

1. BIG SIZE

A panel is 2440mmx1220mm which covers around 3 square meters.

2. LIGHTWEIGHT

The average density of our Fiber Cement Board is 1.45g/cm³. A 9mm Fiber Cement Board only weighs 13.18kg/m2, while a 5.5mm ceramic weighs 13.27kg/m2. Fiber Cement Boards greatly reduce the negative effect that panels have on buildings. Furthermore, to ensure the safety of users, we fix the metal hangers to prevent cracking or falling off.

3 EXCELLENT WEATHER RESISTANCE.

According to C/T 564.1-2008,Fiber reinforced calcium silicate board part 1: no asbestos calcium silicate board, Put a fiber cement board in a freezer(-20~2)for 90minutes, and then, put it in the water(20~2)for 30 minutes. Repeat the process 25 times and make sure there is no cracks or delamination on the surface of the panels.

4 HIGH STRENGTH, IMPACT RESISTANCE

The lowest bending strength of parallel fibers is15 Mpa, and the highest bending strength of vertical fibers is20 Mpa. According to the test report of GB/T 15227-2007The test method of air-tight,water-tight, and wind pressure resistance for curtain wall, each panel should pass the pressure tests of ±2500 Pa,±3000 Pa,±3500 Pa~±5500 Pa for 10 seconds respectively. There shall not be any cracks until the pressure reaches 5390 Pa.

5. HEAT INSULATION

Fiber Cement Board -Pure Color Collection has a low thermal conductivity(about 0.35 W/m-K). It manages to control the loss of heat and helps maintain an adequate temperature in the room in all seasons.

6. LOW-CARBON ENVIRONMENT

1200℃ is required when manufacturing ceramics. It usually costs 6.8kg of coal and 5.0kw/h electricity to produce 1 square meter of ceramics. By contrast, high temperature is not necessary when manufacturing fiber cement boards. Autoclaving at 200℃ only costs 0.8kg coal and 1.2kw/h to produce 1 square meter of fiber cement board.

7. SELF-CLEANING FUNCTION

The waterproof performance of the panels can effectively prevent liquid infiltration. Due to the Lotus effect, raindrops can gather together shortly after falling on the panels and take the dust along with it.

Compared with ceramics, Fiber cement boards save 6kgcoal and 3.8kw/h power per square meter. Therefore, Fiber Cement Boards are much more environmentally friendly than ceramics.
